JPSC Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 08/2025) for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025. This test determines eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professors in government colleges and for admission to Ph.D. programmes in Jharkhand. The online application process is open from 16 September 2025 to 6 October 2025, with the last date for fee payment on 7 October 2025. The exam will be conducted offline in OMR mode, consisting of two papers — General Aptitude and Subject Specific.

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria	Requirement
Educational Qualification (UR / EWS)	Master’s degree with at least 55% marks
Educational Qualification (SC / ST / BC‑I / BC‑II / PwBD of Jharkhand)	Master’s degree with at least 50% marks
Final Year Candidates	Eligible provisionally (must secure marks within 2 years)
PhD Holders	5% relaxation for candidates who completed Master’s on/before 19 Sept 1991
Age Limit	Minimum 21 years, no upper age limit
