Bihar Scholarship 2025 – Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana, Medhavriti, and Kanya Uthan Yojana

The eligible students can apply for the following scholarships: 

Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika (10th Pass) Protsahan Yojana

Mukhyamantri Balika (Inter +2) Protsahan Yojana

Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Yojana

Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana (Graduate Level)

The applications will be taken in the online Medhasoft Bihar Portal – medhasoft.bihar.gov.in.

🎯 Purpose

Encouraging Higher Education for meritorious students by providing finances, with the aim to ensure no student is to drop out of school and education because of finances. 

💰 Amount of Award

₹10,000 for students who passed the class of 10th (Balak/Balika)

₹25,000 for girls who passed Inter (+2) under the Kanya Uthan Yojana

₹50,000 for girls who passed Graduation under the Kanya Uthan Yojana.

🏛️ Scholarship Overview – Bihar Scholarship 2025

The Government of Bihar through the Education Department (Medhasoft Portal) has announced an online application for Bihar Scholarship 2025. The intention of the schemes is to provide financial support and motivation for students who are studying and have graduated from recognised institutions (Matric, Intermediate, or Graduation) in Bihar.

Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika (10th Passed) Protsahan Yojana 2025:

This initiative is aimed at students who have successfully completed their Class 10 (Matriculation) exam in 2025 from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Eligible students can submit an application for monetary support in recognition of their achievement.

Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana – Balika (Intermediate +2) Protsahan Yojana 2025:

With this scheme, girls who have passed an Intermediate (+2) exam in 2025 from the Bihar School Examination Board can apply for the scholarship. The objectives of this scheme are to promote higher education for female students in the state.

Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Yojana 2025:

This scheme is specifically for SC/ST girl students who have passed an Intermediate (+2) exam in either the 1st or 2nd division in 2025. The scholarship provides recognition for their hard work and assists them in further education.

Mukhyamantri Balika (Snatak) Protsahan Yojana 2025:

This scheme is for female students who have graduated or completed an equivalent course from a recognized college or technical institute in Bihar. In order to be eligible, students must have graduated between April 1, 2021, and December 31, 2024.
